Hi guys!
If you’re looking for a place to welcome 2015, Solaire Resort has something in store for you.
Last December 17, I attended Solaire’s Tea Hat Party at it’s newly opened Oasis Garden Cafe. It’s bird nest interior and glass roof gave me a relaxing vibe that I forgot about my two hour travel from Ortigas to Solaire. The freshly brewed tea and traditional snacks calmed my senses.
Everything tastes good and are undeniably picture perfect.
Here’s a gallery of what to expect at the newly opened Oasis Garden Cafe.
This fancy cafe also offers a full complement of cocktails and drinks served with the usual Solaire panache at night time.
Solaire also opened Waterside Restobar, an all-day dining restaurant that serves Latin American and Mediterranean specialties and features a unique ensemble of show kitchens, which includes a paella cooking station, churrascaria, rotisserie, and tapas bar.
The restobar opening was hosted by the beautiful Kim Jones and a number of world class local performers entertained us from the start until we finished our dinner.
I was in awe when I saw the beautiful interior of Waterside Restobar. Everything looks chic and clean. I am also amazed to see chefs prepare our dishes.
Sharing with you photos of the dishes that were served to us. I hope I make your tummies growl. LOL!
Tapas
 |
Sardinallas |
Perfectly cooked fish meat in olive oil, topped with crusty bread.
 |
banderillas |
Olive, piquilo and garlic made with love. This is one of my favorites. I like how these three blended.
 |
Boquorones |
I don’t know with you guys but for me, eggs and aoli are match made in heaven! Softly cooked eggs are just perfect.
 |
Jabugo |
Bread topped with ham, pineapple and blue cheese.
Paella
 |
Valenciana |
The classic saffron spiced paella with chicken, prawns and pimiento served in a miniature casserole. Not only that it’s super yummy but it’s also too cute that I couldn’t resist posting it on Instagram.
From the Grill
A platter served with Beef Brisket, Crack Back Chicken, Jumbo Prawns and Inihaw na Liempo…definitely the star of the night. The huge platter needs a wide-angle lens.
Co-Stars
 |
Asparagus (lemon, goat milk) |
 |
Crushed (scruffed carbonara potatoes) |
 |
Humita (sweetcorn baked in husk) |
Sweets
 |
pineapple with ravioli, chili and sorbet |
 |
chocolate tart with raspberry jelly |
