I have tried all the online shopping apps available here in the Philippines. Especially when I was still pregnant with Chuck because of the convenience that it brings me. Let’s admit it, the traffic situation alone here in the Philippines is like a nightmare!

Plus, I like online shopping because I get to see how much money I will spend before I even pay for it.

I was so excited when I found out that the Legendary retailer, The SM Store now offers online shopping! I have waited for this because I get most of my essentials from Watson’s. It’s very tempting to go to a Watson’s shop because you get to see a lot of items that will surely catch you eyes! You know, stuff that you don’t really need but are good for the skin, hair, etc. HAHA!

Not only that, we all know that SM has everything that we need! From baby essentials to cooking. You’re probably thinking about my first ever Shop SM haul.

But before we get to that exciting part, allow me to share my shopping experience. I didn’t use their app because I am running out of phone memory (don’t judge, I am a new mom so… expect countless photos and videos of my son stored on my phone).

Their website is okay – I didn’t experience any lag. Signing up is as easy as 1 2 3. Also, you can earn points on your SM Advantage card when you shop online. You just have to key in your card number (sadly, my SM advantage card is already expired :/ ).

They have 7 categories that you can explore: Women, Men, Kids, Home, Beauty, Sale and New. You know where to go when you want to buy your favorite moisturizer or maybe a new pair of shoes.

You can use your debit/credit card for payment or you may opt for cash. They have three delivery options that you can choose from: Ship to address, Pick-up at The SM Store and Cash-on-delivery.

So, back to my haul. Haha! Of course, I immediately checked the SM Health and Beauty for my skin care and I also got some stuff for Migs from SM Men’s.

I received an e-mail confirmation upon check-out. A day after, I received an SMS from 2Go too. They gave me a 2Go tracking number which unfortunately is not working. It maybe because of the Holidays why 2Go was not able to fulfill the expected day of delivery.

My package came in a small box and non of the items were damaged because each item were carefully packed by SM – but I do hope they find an alternative instead of using bubble wraps.

All in all, the experience was good except for the delivery part which is not SM’s fault. Will I consider shopping again? Absolutely!
