Chronicles of a Happy Married Life

Eat well, live well with Ajinomoto

My sister-in-law came home from Tokyo last week with her daughter and she thought of letting her taste Filipino food like our version of sweet and chili spaghetti.

Because i have stocked Ajinomoto products at home, I volunteered to prepare sweet and spicy spaghetti for her little one.

The ingredients include ground pork, tomato sauce, hotdogs, salt and pepper to taste and half kilo of pasta (she chose elbow macaroni because her daughter is attracted to it).
Her daughter doesn’t like onions and garlic so instead of cooking it the usual way, I didn’t saute the ingredients. Instead, I boiled the ground pork to a liter of water and added Pork Savor All-in-one seasoning mix until it’s tender. I added hotdogs and mixed the tomato sauce and let it simmer for about 45 minutes with gradual mixing so it won’t stick to my sauce pan.

Pork Savor All-in-one seasoning mix is made from natural pork meat extract and bone broth, complete with spices and seasonings to bring out the deliciousness of home-cooked dishes
So, you won’t have to worry about any odd taste on your food and it saves you time as well.

Using pork in spaghetti gives you the sweetness that most Filipinos kids love. You can try it with other dishes too!

Do you have picky-eaters at home? We’d love to know how you prepare your dishes for them.

Happy eating!

  11. I used to use Ajinomoto vetsin for all my dishes when I was just starting out with cooking and all my dishes came out great, then there's that scare on MSG that made me try out other alternatives. I've been using other seasoning of the same type but I've got me a couple of pork savor packs here I'm about to try out. 🙂

  12. Wow, new product of ajinamoto. I always see ajinamoto in our kitchen when I was young but when I had my own family, it is not included in my kitchen. I only use beef, chicken and pork cubes.

  13. I've been seeing lots of posts lately of this Pork Savor. I should really try it out soon. I'm not surprised your niece liked this type of spaghetti. Most kids do. 🙂
